About

I am an artist, teacher, mom, wife, and outdoor enthusiast, currently working in Fort Mill, SC (just outside Charlotte NC). I recently finished my MFA at Winthrop University, where I taught Drawing and 2D media studies and managed the Winthrop CreatorSpace.
In 2021, I was Artist in Residence at the McColl Center in Charlotte, NC. My residency was a partnership with Atrium Health System, and I investigated the impact of Covid-19 on the Charlotte Community.
I also recently completed a public art installation for Miracle Park, an inclusive park in Rock Hill SC. Miracle Park was awarded the prestigious gold medal in Universal Design.
In 2022, I joined the design team at ACSM. We design and build wayfinding systems and public art projects.
Making art is how I understand the world in which I live. My studio provides a space to investigate ideas and questions that exist beyond the boundaries of language.
